We are a very personal family business.

In 2003 I set up as a one-man subcontract machinist and re-mortgaged our home to buy a Citizen CNC sliding headstock turn-mill centre determined to perform one-hit machining cycles on parts up to 20 mm diameter my own way.

Now, after working all hours of the day and night to build DJM Precision Engineering with my co-director wife Julie, we have 6 Citizens running round-the-clock and a fixed-head Colchester 42 mm capacity bar lathe.  These are all installed in a factory unit that has doubled in size to 3,000 ft2 and we now have a dedicated and highly skilled workforce of 5 people.
